Check an EAN code or a whole list

Paste one barcode or several hundred at once. We tell you which are valid and, for the others, which check digit was expected.

One code or a list

One code per line, or comma separated. Up to 500 codes in one go.

Three checks

Standard length (8, 12, 13 or 14 digits), format detected automatically, and check digit recomputed.

A clear table

Each row shows the detected format and, when something is wrong, the digit that should have been there.

Save time

Checking codes takes five minutes. Typing the listings takes your evening

Refect starts from the supplier invoice: barcodes, prices, stock and references are extracted, then turned into listings you can publish.

Frequently asked questions

Why can a code rejected by Amazon look correct?

Usually the check digit is wrong: two digits were swapped while typing or copying from a PDF. The code has the right length but is still invalid.

Which formats are recognised?

EAN-8, UPC-A (12 digits), EAN-13 and GTIN-14 — the four lengths standardised by GS1.

Can I paste an Excel column?

Yes. Line breaks, commas, semicolons and tabs all work as separators.

Are my lists stored?

No. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is sent or saved.
